Got a bit of a late start because there was a problem with our boat. We're going to be canoeing instead! I've never really canoed, so hopefully everything goes alright.
We had a 10 hour drive up to Houghton in the truck- the perfect opportunity to get to know our volunteers for the trip! Their names are Sarah and Charlotte. We talked a ton in the car, and bonded over the fact that after you cross the Mackinac Bridge, there are no restaurants for about 50 billion years.
